Ford Motor Credit - Vehicle Repossed and Sold but Ford Motor Credit did not provide Documents
I was having problems with the Ford Motor Credit financing my vehicle. I would often send out my payment which were recieved but not credited to my account ontime. Then they would charge me late fees. After several months of this I decided to return the vehicle to them. At first they refused to take it back so I stop making payments. Later they agree and I told them exactly where the vehicle was located at.
At the time, I owe 21,000 on the vehicle. Ford Motor Credit claims they sold the vehicle at a dealership in Baltimore for 12,900 but did not send me a bill of the sale of the vehicle. Now they claim I owe them 8,000 which is the difference between the sale of the vehicle and what I financed the vehicle for but I have nothing to confirm that the vehicle was sold for the price that stated. I am not contesting the sale of the vehicle but by law I am entitled to a formal bill of the sale of the vehcile in order to verify how much if any money is owe by me to Ford Motor Credit(or visaversa). I believe the vehicle was sold and financed for much more. I looke up the law and Ford Motor Credit must deduct the tolal amount the vehicle was financed for from my account. (not was it was sold for) I believe this was not done and that is why they did not and will send a bill of sale. I am trying to get Ford Motor Credit to Comply and send me this information.
