Citifinancial called me on February 17th, to let me know that my pmt was 16 days late. I let her know that I would make it before the end of the month, because both my husband and I had been laid off. I also let her know that he had just got a job, and we were in the middle of moving to a different state. She then told me that she could give me an extention for 2 months that would help me get caught up. I said that was great! I tried to give her my new address, and phone number, but said that she didn't want it until I was completely moved up there. I said ok. She asked me where my husband worked now, and I told her. She said she will submit the request, and to not worry about anything, because she did not see any problem with it. Two weeks later I received a phone call letting me know that the request had been denied, because they did not have my current address. I let them know that I had tried to give it before, and she wouldn't take it. He said he needs it now. Then around 3 days later I received another phone call letting me know that it had been denied, because they did not have my husband's current work info. I again told them that. A few days after that I received yet another phone call letting me know that I needed to make a pmt. I asked them why, and they said that the extention did not go threw. I asked them why this time, and they said that I needed to have a pmt in win 30 days of the request, or it would not be valid. I asked to talk to a supervisor, and was given the run around. 3 hours after trying to reach a supervisor they put someone on the phone claiming to be a supervisor, but she kept putting me on hold, because she obviously could not answer my questions. Then, she put a supervisor on the phone, and I asked if I was talking to a supervisor this time, and she said yes, and the woman that you were talking to is my assistant, and she is considered a supervisor. (RIGHT!) Then, once again I explain the situation, and she said she will try to put the extention threw again. I explained to her that had I had been told this in the beginning, I would not be over 30 days late, and would have already made my pmt. She put the request threw, and once again it was denied. I called today, to talk with another supervisor, and he started to tell me the same thing that I've heard for 3 weeks. When I let him know that, he said 'oh, now I guess you're going to tell me how to do my job.' So, the screaming match was on!!!!! I let him (like I've told everybody there) that I cannot beleive that I have to pay for your mess up. They said sorry, but we still need a pmt. I called back this afternoon, with a pmt. When I did, they took the pmt, and let me know that I was out for repo. I could not beleive it, considering that the pmt they needed was under 200.00 to catch up the loan. I have NEVER been 30 days late on this loan, and usually make more than the monthly pmt. I made the pmt in full.. 289.91.. I cannot beleive that they created this problem, and they are not willing to fix it.
