I also had a iud put in on october 12 2007 and it was painful going in but the pain went away and i felt a big differance i had lighter periods the next month and then in august 18 2008 i stopped having a period so i called my dr and went in they said it was fine and this was normal so i went on my way then in january 2009 i felt funny so i made another dr appointment and told them my boyfriend could feel it when we had sex and they said that was strange but it was fine that was on the 29th and place ment of the iud was fine so i went home again and the morning of febuary 4th 2009 i started bleeding really bad clots the size of your fist and i went to dr again this time they didnt see the iud so off to get a ultrasound and 5 days later they told me the iud was gone it fell out how does it just fall out!!!!! i bleed for 15 days and know i have to wonder if im preg and its because of mirena someone please tell me how a iud falls out of a 28 year old for no reason
