CAPTAIN D''''S RESTAURANT - Captain D''s,, a little Common Courtesy Please
I know that Captain D's corporate offices should be given an oppurtunity to make ammends for this situation, but as it is after business hours and I am extremely upset and Justifiably so, I must let the company know the ramifications of unprofessional representation. The Captain D's located at 2815 South Perkins Rd. in Memphis TN is managed by Tina. (I won't use her last name out of decency) Tina recently dispayed unacceptable behavior when she hired 17 year old Jay (I won't use her full name as she is a minor) to begin working on January 12 at 5pm. Jay was so excited to be working for Captain D's, she showed up 15 minutes early. At 6pm I received a call from Jay that Tina never showed up to train her and had in fact removed her from the schedule with no notification. My first thought was 'what a lack of common courtesy!' Jay wanted to wait until 7pm for Tina because that was the time Tina was scheduled to be at work. I decided to drive over and wait with Jay. Upon arriving shortly after 6pm, Jay met me at the car with the news that Tina had been contacted several times and was aware that Jay was waiting for clarification to an obvious miscommunication. By 8pm, I suggested to Jay that she go ahead and leave as Tina not only neglected to speak with her on the phone, but she failed to even show up for her own sceduled 7pm start time. I had always held Captain D's above the standard of the usual fast food chain. Now I only advise them to get control of the blatantly irresponsible actions going on with their staffing as food service complaints aren't the only ones being broaded. Managers and Employees will also cause customer dissatisfactions with these types of behaviors.
