Law Office of Mitchell N. Kay,, P.C. - Satisfied Debt,, Law Office will not send letter stating so!
When I found out by mail that I had an outstanding account with this company. I immediately called and set up arrangements to pay the balance of 456.98, in full. I made arrangements to make two payments of 228.49. The first one came in Sept. on the 18th. Immediately upon payment I received a letter stating that I made a payment and that they are expecting the next payment as we made arrangements for. Before the scheduled date came for the next payment, I received a call from the same individual harassing me about the second payment. Being very rude to me. I kindly reminded the rep that he needs to read his notes. He half heartedly apologized to me. I got back with them at the scheduled time and made that second payment with a man named Barry. I advised Barry that I cannot open a checking account until I receive that letter. He assured me that I would receive my letter stating the amount was paid in full. Nearly a month went by before I decided to call back. I was told by a rep that the letter had been in fact mail to me but for me to call back on the 30th of October if I had not received it. I called back on a Friday and was told again by a rep that he will put in a request to have it faxed and I should receive it by Monday the following week. I called back later on in the week and yet again I was told it has been sent out.
Fed up after not receiving the letter I called back in the 2nd week on November and spoke with Rohan and Sanjaev. I was advised that they are not able to fax (the rep lied supposedly, go figure) and that he is personally making sure that the letter is sent out. He specifically told me that I should receive the letter by the following week. To no avail.
Once they got the money, the no longer had an obligation to me! How professional is that.
