RCI - Taking money for service they don''t provide
RCI is a timeshare exchange service. I have paid fees to belong to this service. They tell you that they will exchange your timeshare for any place in the world for a like timeshare. I put in for an exhange for my 2003 year for Hawaii and they never found an exchange for me. Now it has run out and I lost that time and money. I now have my 2004 up for exchange for Hawaii and they tell me they have been searching since last year. When I checked on the progress recently I was told that I would NEVER get my week in Hawaii as I am trading a white timeshare. They have waited a year and a half to tell me this. They do not tell you that you will never get your desired trade when they take your money for membership. I consider what they do as fraud. No where in their advertising do they tell you that if you have a white unit that you will never get your choice of timeshares. But they easily take money for a service they don't provide. And they won't refund your dues either.
