American Express - Reduced my credit Limit up to the amount I owe without prior warning or explaination
I have been a member with American Express since 1986, never been late or over the limit. I have a business account with a credit limit of 79,000, and a personal account with credit limit of 10,000. These are the only account that I use. I currently owe 1,800 on my personal and 2,900 on my business account. Last month I charged approximately 2,000 and made a 1,000 payment, this month I went on a business trip and charged the Airline tickets and other expense on the business account. On Sunday October 19, 2008, I went to the gas station to purchase gas; I was told that this card is decline. I called American Express after 30 minutes on hold I was able to speak to a representative that doesn't speak English that well, what I was told that the reason is because I have too many new open accounts, and I have negative report on my credit history. So I called the credit reporting agencies and paid money to check my report I found nothing was reported as been negative and I don’t have any new accounts recently opened. since that day I have been trying to contact American Express via telephone and unable to get through anyone. When I attempted to call them by using someone else's credit card number I was able to get a live person on the phone quickly. When I inquired about my account, I was told that I need to be transferred to someone else, and again cant get anybody to talked.

Recharged For A Credit
I am being recharged 155.88 by AE for a credit received from Sage Software. AE suspended the charge, received the credit from Sage Software for 155.88 and now AE has recharged me again for a credit received by AE from Sage Software. How can I be recharged for a credit that AE received from Sage and now is passing on the 155.88 credit to my new bill. AE's accounting is very fraudulent. They have raised interest rates to 15.4 from my 12 as AE was in credit trouble and turned itself into a ban
American Express Posts Debt 20 Years Later!
I owed Amex 84 from an account closed in 1986.
They continue to post this derogatory information to the credit agencies still- over 20 years later! I have offered to pay off the debt x10 (840) but they won't even let me pay!
