The beginning of this year Option One Mortgage Company went out of business and American Home Mortgage took over. I have contacted American Home Mortgage for my statments, since the last one I received from Option One was Janaury, 2008. Every time I speak to someone they promise to send me the statements, however, I have not received them to date. (101808).

In 2005, I had to refinance, because my husbands brother embezzeled his business from him. At that time a representative from Option One told us this is the only way out. Our life was in turmoil and we agreed with a interest only loan! And as of Sepetmeber my rate has increased by 500.00.

I contated American Home Mortgage and verbally applied for a loan modification on September 28,2008. I still haven't heard from them.

Help!!!!
