Paid a settlement and cant find them

I was offered a settlement on a credit card debt and have followed the settlement which included six equal payments. Each month after receipt of payment they would send me a letter of acknowledgement and remind me to send in the next payment. After they received my last and final payment I received the same letter of acknowledgement and was reminded to send in the next payment. I have attempted to visit their website and apparently it does not exist.
