I have been having problems trying to get my HP laptop fixed. It was not even a year since I bought HP Pavilion and the computer gave out. Now it does not boot up. I’ve tried for over a month to get the problem fixed since I still had warranty with Hewlett Packard, but then they told me that the computer was out of warranty.
Then I submitted a my proof of purchase in order to show that the laptop was still in warranty. I gave them a couple of days before calling them back to see what was going to happen. I was told that they would be sending me a box within two business days, so that I can send them my computer so that they can fix it. I never received the box, so I called again and again and again and the same thing occurred. I finally called once more, a day before my warranty expired and I was then told that they don’t have proof that my computer was under warranty and besides my warranty would expire the next day, September 18.
I don't understand why they didn't tell me the second time I called to check in after I submitted my proof of purchase. Why didn't they tell they did not receive it? Why did they tell me that I would be getting the box so they can fix my computer. I am very upset because I am in school and I need my computer urgently in order to get my work done. I don't think I would purchase anything from Hewlett Packard again. I am still fighting to get my computer fixed.
