Arrow Financial is suing me

Arrow Financial Services,, LLC

I had a credit card through Providian, the debt became overdue and I could not pay, the company charged off the card in 2004. Later Arrow purchased it and now they are trying to sue me for nearly 4000, an mount nearly triple the original charge off amount.
