I cancelled their auto Insurance, to go back to Allstate insurance. I cancelled on the day before next payment was due. They say I was paying one month behind...not one month in advance...and I know I was paying one month in advance. Therfore I owe them nothing. They are now threatening me with going to a collection agency. I am a senior citizen, alone, and on a very small Social Security income, and very stressed out over this. Do I have any recourse, outside of paying them? Please, if anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
