My 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS continues to fall apart, piece by piece. The majority of the damage incurred is related to recalls and investigations by the NHTSA. Most recently, the frame of my car rusted, allowing a shock to fly through it's cover and dent my hood (inside out!). I've been told by automotive professionals that my car is no longer safe to drive, and I'm still paying for it. I can't even trade it in now, except for parts. Also, when I contacted Mitsubishi to alert them as to the danger, they decided not to investigate my car's damage, without even seeing the vehicle. It is dangerous and Mitsubishi will not acknowledge that the damage could be a result of a defect and not the care I give to my car.
