I called Countrywide bank and talked to a gentleman about buying C.D.'s from them. Since then I have changed my mind about buying from them and called them. They have only had my money for a few days and are charging me 955.65 dollars for early withdrawl. I have not even sent in my signed papers that they sent me even tho I sent them my check for 100,000.00 dollars at their request. I am sick about this. they said that when I signed the check I was telling them to start my c.d.'s, and they have deposited my money, so that entitles them to charge me for early withdrawl.
Is this true. Do I have to pay that to get my money back?
