I recently defaulted on a payday loan due to some unexpactant events that came up on my job such as; work hours decreased, maternity leave of absence, and pay decrease. So therefore, I could not keep up on my loan repayment. After explaining this to the representative, she continues to harass me at work. One day this week, she called my job three times back to back. I explained to her in a polite way to stop calling my job because this can get me fired. She repeatedly called, I even told her that I would contact the FDCPA, she did not care. She has sent threatening letters saying that i could be arrested, that she will contact my HR department, etc. I am afraid that this may cost me my job. Can't someone make her stop? She has been very abusive in her tone of voice with me over the phone and she won't even let you get a word in into the conversation. What can I do?
