I am complaining about Diversified Collection Services, Inc. due to failure to report to me that I am currently in default status. I have been at my current address for over 2 years but never recieved mail from them . . . if they are so worried about getting in touch with me why didn't they send anything by certified letter? They tried different tactics such as calling my old work number, my mother-in-law, and my husband's work which I believe goes against the confidentiality clause that concerns me. Once they try to corner you on the phone they are very evasive with who they are and don't really answer why they are calling in the first place making you feel suspicious about they're motives. Furthermore, I tried to call them on their turf but they were unwilling to make any sort of settlement with me at this time. I've tried to contact the US Dept. of Education and was given a complaint address to make a complaint about this company even though I was told by their Default Resolution Group to call DCS.
