I brought my car into the dealership in New Londodn Ct. I have ad a problem with no heat in my car for almost 3 years. They replace a secondary resourvous and still no heat. Was told that it was probsblythe heater core. I am disabled and live on a limited income and to rplace the heater core was out of the question. I have done alot of research on the car since then and have found that there is a 6.00 part blend door actuator which apparently gets warped and the heat goes elsewhere. I called the same dealership today and they told me it was an 8 hour job to replace this 6.00 part. Now my problem is that he Ford company was and is awre of the malfunction but hasn't put it on the recall list, probably necause from my research I have learned there are many people who own this same type vehicle and have the same exact problem. My question is the fairness of a big company like that knowing full well there is a problem made adjustments to a new part and expect the consumer eho bought thier produc in good faith to paydepending on the hourly rate anywhere from 1300-2400 to rplace a 6.00 part? I live in the nnortheast, my windows are fogged up 34 of the time, I have to dress like Nan nook of the North when I do have to go out. How can I resolve this problem not only for me but for the other owners who are going thru the exact same problem?
Sincerely,
Seven A. Murch
