My Fiancé and I went into dealership to purchase a car. We were told that we have a better chance a purchasing a pre-owned car so we were referred to Rich Harshfield and he found us a used 2003 Mazda 6. After test driving it and holding the car for a couple of days we decided we liked it and were ready to negotiate a price. We went up there and after about 2 hrs we decide on a rate with a trade of my old car which I had the paperwork to retrieve the title. I gave that documentation to Speedway which they were going to use to get the title to my car. We were all set and we met with North in Financing. We were financed the car, sold and purchased a warranty package given the dealer tag and keys and were on are way thinking we had just bought a car. Well in less that a week the salesman Rich Harshfield calls us and tell us that the bank didn’t approve the loan and we needed to bring the car back and we had to pick something else. We were upset so we took the car back and I tried to get my receipt for the title to my car only to have them tell me they mailed it. This after my mother-in-law called and told them I need it. Now it been two weeks and I have not gotten it back. I am so upset that I was treated unfairly and mislead by Speedway Chevrolet and will seek legal action. I understand that they do this often at this dealership. I advise anyone to think twice before you purchase a car at Speedway Chevrolet of Broken Arrow,Ok. My fiancé had hurt her knee and the day they told us to come up there to finance the car conveintly the salesman Rich Harshfield was not there and no one on there on the lot knew what was going on with the sale. We wasted a trip up there for nothing my fiancé was very upset as was I because we could have been at the hospital treating her knee rather that being lied to. Also why have they kept documentation and information that is not there’s. We asked North to terminate the contract or give it to us and they said It was locked in the financing office and we could not get it. We were screwed and used and we are very upset. This just goed to show how the low man on the totem pole can be screwed by a major dealership and think they can get away with it. We I refuse to let them have there way. I have legal representation and will seek whatever it is I have to do to insure justice is met.
