I have a problem with how Skyhigh Siding and Roofing installed a roof on my home. I believe my statements qualify as a public concern and are made with no malice and an up most regard for truth. This is said to deflect the reaction from Skyhigh which will probably be a threat.
I predict this because one of the first problems I had was being threatened by a Skyhigh employee when I did not want to make the final payment on a leaking roof , which I could see was not installed properly. This display occurred in front of my home with four witnesses (family and neighbors). That leak took months to fix and included a letter from Skyhigh that their professional opinion was that my roof was not leaking. I was able to disprove this position with a garden hose on the roof (and I am not a professional).
Many efforts were made to get Skyhigh to remedy the incorrect installation of my roof. I have documentation from them informing the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs of Palm Beach County that they would not respond to my complaints because my roof was properly installed. I have an email from Skyhigh suggesting that my pursuit for satisfaction is an attempt at insurance fraud (because they claimed all along to be bonded, which may not be true).
After months of frustration with Skyhigh, I pursued (and have) documentation from the Palm Beach Gardens Building Department and the manufacturer of the material used that my roof was improperly installed. Since Skyhigh was unable to recognize this independently, a complaint has been made to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (their licensing entity). I await the result of this complaint but predict further denial on the part of Skyhigh.
Again, these are facts which I can verify. Pages could be written describing why I think this company should be avoided. If nothing else, consider why you want a roofer that will devour your life for over a year to get no customer satisfaction.
