i had applied on line for and interview with human resourses on November 1, 2007 @ 1:oo pm. I reciecved a conformation stating such time and date. when I showed up at the 34th street store, I was told no such interview exsits and that they would not look at my reciept of email confirming this appointment. no appoligies, no rescheudle, just dismissed me out of the store. her name is Vanessa and she is in human resources. I am a former kmart employee who left to pursue a better job, which buiding was destoryed on Sept 11, 2001.. I need employment and my time is just a valueble as thiers. I also called corporate headquarters and recieved a case number 5698219. no one has gotten back and i feel that now I do not have a fair chance to get a job there. I was a good worker at kmart going from cashier at my start to customer service specialist supervisor when i left 4 12 years later. what can I do about this
