I purchased round trip tickets for over the christmas season to and from California. Due to illness of my 10 year old son, (post-tramtic stress) I cannot fly. The airline will not refund my 1200 dollars, nor will the insurance comany honor my claim, event hough they said before I purchased it trip cancellation for any reason was covered! How can they legally get away with this? United has the money to refund and sell my tickets at more than double what I paid for them, yet they and Access America refuse to refund my money. I am a disabled single mom, my son is mentally challenged as it is. this is so unfair, not only to us, but to the hundreds of americans they trick with this ploy daily!
