To Whom this may Concern,

For a few years now I have been trying to clear up a system glitch or IN MY OWN OPION corruption with New Jersey Unemployment. There was a period in my life where I applied for it and was disqualified because the job I worked at stated I did not show when I was told not to come in. My luck was great at the time because I found a job about 2 wks later and didn't even bother with appealing the statement. My problem did not arise until about 4 yrs later when I was laid off from my job, in the begining I was receiving the unemployment checks. Then after about 2 - 3 months I called to make a check claim and an operator came on and said “you actually owe us money '. She explained I owed them about 5,000 and the good news was that I made payments already and the balance is actually less. I was dumb founded because I never made payments and I didn't owe any money. After talking to the office in Trenton they advised I go to the local office. When I did it was like pulling teeth, nobody wanted to help or listen because they just go by what the computer shows. Finally after being persistent and telling them I talked to someone in Trenton for about an hour that caught there attention. The lady said 'Really the never talk that long your lucky if you get 5 mins.' I replied, Well they see what happened and advised me to come here. I showed them the paper work I saved and asked them to show me the checks I received and signed. She said ok went to talk to some higher up on the 2nd or 3rd floor and came back down and said ' You are right, I will fix it for you it will take 1 - 2 months'. I then left because they said there was nothing they can give me as a receipt, waited 2 months when back to check just to find out nothing was done. Talked to someone else that assured me they can help, she too had to go upstairs and her story was to have it fixed make an appeal, which I did that day and it will take a few weeks to receive a call from an examiner. I never received any call, so I called Trenton again the said, 'It shouldn’t have taken this long, let me look up your appeal', they could not find it in the system. So, I went back to Tomsriver and asked what’s going on here they were able to pull it up and show me it’s in the system, then the lady said let me find out for you. She called someone and who ever it was must have told her to get rid of me. I got another reply it will take 6 months. I waited again just to go back and have someone else say why did you wait so long to check on this, let me find out for you. They talked to the higher up and must have been told again get rid of me because this time the just ignored for 25 mins. I got very upset and just left. To this day they take my state taxes; I now get a bill for a 247 balance they say I have left to pay. No one can seem to help, I have even come across people that knew people in the agency and they couldn't help. They have taken about 5,000 from me for no reason and in some cases when I really needed my tax money it made it very hard on me. I wonder how many other people they do it to that just pay because they can't afford a lawyer and the people that are there to help don't do any thing especially if the are told not to by there boss. IN MY OPION THIS IS ANTOHER SCAM AND SOMEONE IS PUTTING MILLIONS IN THERE POCKET BY BEING UNETICAIL.
