Through payroll records, I recently learned that seven women over 40 are being paid 10k less than men and women under 40 in our office. I brought it to HR's attention. They have conducted an audit and learned that we were underpaid and adjusted the salary. However, we are still not in total alignment with the people under 40. I did ask for retro pay and was declined. In addition, 8 people under 40 in our department have been promoted. Zero people over 40 have been promoted. I work for a major employer in Columbus, OH
