My wife has been smoking Salem Lights for over 25 years under the same assumption that 'Lights' meant safer. She currently suffers from small cell lung cancer which had speaded to the brain. For the past 3 years she's undergone all the usual treatments, including brain surgery. Besides all the pain and suffering there's no way to measure our cost. We've had to liquidate all our assets, our home's mortgage was forclosed and we moved into an apartment just to keep up the cost of treatments. She continues to fight the desease and continues to smoke Salem Lights. R.J. Reynolds should be held accountable for misleading smokers with such an addictive product.
