I have been with Macaroni Grill for over five years and have never recieved any write ups. I recently got another job to obtain more income, I also had put in myrequest for vacation pay and was told i was apporoved for it. I unknowingly missed a shift and was told that i was being let go, now this wouldn't have been a big deal but i had been a model employee, holding almost every position but management. I feel I was fired because my manager felt I would be leaving soon because of my new job and did not want to give me my vacation pay. I have spoke to the area director in that region and was told she would get back with me but there has been no attempt. i feel i was wrong fully fired, and not given the vacation pay i was told i would get and deserved.
