Law office of Mitchell N.Kay ,P.C sent me a coolection letter to pay of my credit card bill .. Instead of making monthy payments to them i decided to mail them a settlement letter with 3 posted dated for a settlement ..In my letter i advised them if the settlement amount could not be approved to mail me back the checks .. Instead of someone from the office calling me or mailing me a response they cash the checks .. So it come to my last check i called the office and they then inform me that they are not going to except my settlement after they have cashed two of my checks .. Now i am a single parent and i worked around my rent to pay this account off .If they could not except my offer then they should have not cashed my checks .I had then mail me back my last check ..They can not find the letter i sent them but surly could find the check . I feel now that the monies they have receive is fair enough and i don't owe them any more money .. They are not a fair collections company .. once they cashed the first check they except my offer .Now they refuse it ..What a law firm.
