I ordered a computer through Blue Hippo in November and was promised delivery by Christmas. After many phone calls, I have only received two emails. I haven't received a computer or any other promised merchandise. In the latest of the two emails, they requested information that I am not willing to furnish. I, in turn, called and asked for a refund. They told me that I will get a refund, but there will be a 175 fee kept from my refund to cover administrative costs. Furthermore, my refund will take 4-6 weeks for me to receive. What administrative costs are involved in the two emails I was sent, the ACH that was set up on my bank account, or in sending me back my money? I figure, a maximum of 20-30 minutes of one persons time. Which, if they make 12hr (very high estimate), they need about 6 in administrative fees to give me my money back. As for the 4-6 weeks time frame to give me a refund; why did it only take them a few days to start taking money from me, yet it takes 4-6 weeks to give it back?
