capital one didnt send me my statements for my account even though u gave them a change of address 3 times and had proof of this when i went to court because i had 2 other accounts with them and i was getting those statements. so anyways they took me to court in sept2002 and the case got dismissed and the account was closed and the court papers say dismissed without prejudice which means they can bring it back but they never have and my court papers also say dismissed with no further costs to either party final!signed y the judge.capital one is showing this on my credit reports as charged off and closed which let me tell you the amount of the charge off was 2,700 which is not right anyways but what they have done is opened my account and have been charging me inerest on this closed charged off account since 2002 and now they say i owe them 5,700 dollars and that is showing on my credit reports and they say i need to pay that.I am at the end of this the last i knew it was dismissed in court and charged off so why would i think i owed them anything? the lady Kim from capital one i talked to because i called there to see why this was on my report and she sais i owe this and i dont and not once have they ever sent me anything stating i owe this never in 5 years and i asked her why they never sent me anything and she said it was my debt i owed. How can you call to make payment arrangements on a bill you dont even know exists until you see it on your report the last i knew it was dismissed in court and never reopened and never ever any contact from them about owing them anything i think i have the legal court papers to do something about this i would like your input on this if you could please let me know what you think. let me remind you i have all the court papers stating this is dismissed without any further costs to either party and the account is closed so how can they say i owe this money. its wrong please help me with this michelle
