Zwicker Associates called me daily about a card debt. They told me that there would be a lien put on my property. I agreed to pay 3600.00 to Zwicker. To do this I had to take a cash advance from another credit card. The bank told me that I could only get 3000.00 which Zwicker got. The remaining balance of 600.oo was to be taken from my checking account in three payments. The first payment's check was returned for insufficient funds. Now I have a summons to appear. But my question is: Is it true that they can really put a lien on my property or was this a tactic to intimaidate me? And if it was, do I have grounds for a lawsuit against Zwicker?
