I was contacted by the law office of Mitchell N Kay about a debt I owed I said I did not have the money up front but I was willing to make payments till the debt was settled. I set up to pay 20 dollars a week to them till the debt was settled and they would quit calling me. They kept calling me demanding I make full restitution of the 999.57 I owed and until the whole amount was collected they would keep on calling me. I recently got an offer to pay them a down payment of 249.95 on the balance I owed and a payment of 74.95 a month so I sent them the money the amount was never taken off of my bill. I got another call about this and was told of paying half the amount I at the time did not have the money so I asked if I could wait two weeks because I had sent a deposit of 250 to them. They said fine. I only recently got another letter again the 250 I had paid is not showing on although the 80 I had put on it is after my Mother came storming into the homeless shelter I was staying at and gave me my letter I had already sent them the new address they still sent it to the old address. I only got it on Tuesday today 1160 7 I shreded it I was going to pay the remaining 240 on the offer they made but now I am holding off as I see they will not acknowledge the payment I made. Now that I see they are not keeping accurate records I am forced to get a notorary republic to acknowledge me mailing the amounts to them so that they have no legal recourse. so I guess I am out the 250 I sent them so I am holding off till february when I will send them the money for the settlement offer and hope they go away.
