I am mortgager of Washington Mutual Bank since 2003. In December 2005, my payment was discontinued due to my prompt leave overseas to take care of my mother because of her critical situation. I requested pay back my balance till the end of January 2006. However, since then WAMU staff manipulated to fail me from paying on time, to fulfill their attempt to foreclose the property I paid over half of the price, and on time for 30 months. No matter how I emphasized that I wanted to bring my account up to current as soon as possible to avoid default, WAMU employees kicked me around, delayed handling my account, and with obvious intent disqualified me for reinstating my mortgage.
On December 21, WAMU attorney sent me a trustee sale notice via email, and requested me pay over 20,000 by January 2, 2007. That means I had only 4 business days to complete his requirement from overseas. On the other hand, WAMU refused to give me a copy of my payment history since my request it in February 2006. My email contact to WAMU attorney is not responded, and the 1-800 number is an automatic system that can’t speak with anyone.
