On 8252006 I traded in my 06 Frontier for a 06 Xterra. I was given 13,000 for my trade in and paid off a title loan of 5,500. The purchase price of the Xterra was 22,000 and my current laon balance with Nissan Motor is 24,500 and my next loan for the same titled vehicle is 21,000 with GMAC loans. But before I even got to the loan portion of my deal this happened: 8-25-06 12 noon walked in dealership, traded vehicle, sighned over title, test drove 4 vehicles, decided on my Xterra and package, cleand out trade in, sighned paperwork for new vehicle, at 5:20pm that same day I was handed the Keys to my new Xterra and drove home to KENTUCKY. A week after arriving home the deal finance calls wanting info faxed so I faxed what they needed, no problem. Next week they needed more info faxed, faxed 21 pages for them no problem. Then October 11 a REPO man came for my new vehicle. I was out of town so he left a note on my door. I called and spoke to him on more than one occassion. He would NOT even repo the vehicle because after he read the contract from Nissan to me he felt there was something illegal going on there. On October 25th my temporary plate expired and I still had NO registeration, NO plates, No nothing. During all this time I keep calling nissan, spoke with the finance manager Adrian, asked to speak to the general manager Ben Mendoza and he would never return my calls, I left threenumbers he can contact me at all times including my pager for work. Then Adrian calls and states the vehicle is STOLEN and he called the police in Charlotte and an arrest warrent was issused for me unless I return the vehicle to NC.I was scared to death. After my fianceee spoke to him several times for more than 2 hours I had to send more money to the dealership (they already had 13,000 from trade in). It is now Nov 3 and I am pulled over by KY police and arrested for not having plates, registeration, but I do have insurance on a vehicle with 2 loans. It is now Nov 17th I still do not have plates, the dealership will not speak with me at all, they did not pay my taxes in either state of NC or KY so now I am expected to pay almost 2200 for taxes. Oh, ya I now have received confirmation of my loan with Nissan on 11-3 and my first payment is past due with a late fee from 10-25. The loan was not even processed until 10-28. And my loan with GMAC is not due till 1-07. I was suppost to be financed with Nissan first payement to be made in January 07. Now I have court costs to deal with, tickets, bail, two loans, no plates, extensive taxes before I can even plate the vehicle. Yes, I did contact the DOT in NC to get on Nissan and I have no idea what happened with that either. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney Generals office of NC. No news yet. No plates. I live each day worrying if I will be arrested, the car repoed. This is terrible. I am a pediatric nurse and I have worked hard for 18 years to be a good citizen and person and this can possibly cost me my job. Who wants a felon working for them? Who can help me?
