eBay Retaliation; Financial Loss; Ignoring Empty Promises

Report Fraud
Ebay

I have filed complaints to the BBB to the California's Attorney General Office regarding eBay's unlawful business practices. Afterwards eBay retaliated and closed my PowerSeller account based on a trumped up reason that was resolved a long time ago. I wrote to them and called them repeatedly to ask why were they bringing something up that they resolved a long time ago now, but they just ignored me.

I did receive an email from them promising that they would reinstate my account, but after I submitted my ID by fax as they requested, I never heard anything back from them. After this they continued to ignore me or send me conflicting responses, but in the end I have a large bulkwholesale inventory that I acquired to sell on eBay and now suddenly the inventory is a waste and I lost a great deal of money.

eBay does not protect sellers when buyers don't comply with auction terms or who don't pay, so I am forced to file a Non-Paying Bidder Notice, post negative feedback for them then the non-compliant buyer posts libel comments in retaliation against me. eBay allows this unlawful practice widely won't remove the libel so I lose business from potential buyers. I am disabled and was excited to have eBay to sell to make some much needed income, but I have big wasted inventory suffered great financial loss.

I received instructions from an eBay manager promising me that my account would be reinstated and how to submit my ID by fax, but after I did this I waited and waited, but nothing. I contacted eBay and was told my account could not be reinstated? I then contacted the manager back who promised my account to be reinstated, but he never responded back and continued to ignore me.

eBay still bills me for over 400 every month even though they know I have no way of paying them, and I remind them of a 15,000 inventory that I have on hand and have no way of selling. It has been now since March 2006 since they suspended and closed my account, but when I write to them (of which I have since stopped) I am ignored and they continue to bill me.

I also believe that certain shift people are harassing or hindering unlawfully and financially, sellers. This means a certain swing or night shift comes on and begins their harassment undoing what other eBay personnel has promised then they prevent any communications from getting resolved adequately.

I have had a number of damaged eBay members who have contacted me over the months complaining about how unlawful eBay's trade practices are. The latest came a few days ago.

I really had a good thing started up with eBay and found that selling on eBay would solve a lot of my financial woes, but they have ruined me financially and now I sit on inventory that I have no way of getting rid of. I have tried other auction sites but none has the exposure as eBay does and I did not fair well at the other auction sites at all.

I am interested in joining a class-action suit against eBay to recoup my losses, for the courts to make them change their unfair and deceitful (while making promises then ignoring and conflicting statements) businesstrade practices. Also, the CA ATG's Office stated that they could only attempt to mediate with eBay, but they said eBay was uncooperative. I felt there was more that this office could have done to eBay but they too dropped the ball and nothing has been done.

I am very outraged at how they did me and I am disabled. I know there are both those that are and aren't disabled that have been defrauded and duped by eBay. I am very interested in pursuing them legally at any juncture so please contact me for signature, etc.

Thank you.
