My cell phone never last the entire time of my contract with Verizon. The phone either stops performing or the battery loses the ability to maimtain a charge. When the battery can't keep a charge its makes the phone impossible to use or not practical to use. The only recourse then is the buy a new battery whick will cost as much or more than the phone, or renew the contract to get a new phone contiuing to extend the time of your contract endlessly.
