I ordered a computer from a TV ad in May of 2006 -- by August, I still did not have a computer and the company was taking bi-weekly payments out of my bank account. I repeatedly tried to call, but the customer service number for the company never works. Finally, I was sent a 'lay away agreement' which stated I would get my computer immediately upon returning the form. Again, I waited. In September, I sent an email telling them I was done with waiting and to cancel the contract, and that I would take legal action. Someone named 'Robert' sent me an email with a contract to sign. I refused via email and again stated my intention to pursue legal action if I did not get my money back. Once again, nothing. I finally found a phone number for the corporate office, and someone named 'Kathy' promised me a refund in 7 to 10 days -- that was two weeks ago. Nothing. I put a stop payment on all future withdrawals from my account, but I am out over 500. This company needs to be shut down! If anyone out there has a similar complaint in Colorado, we need to get together and go to the Attorney General to put a stop to this.
