Our bank recently charged us over 500 in nonsufficent funds fees due to them paying a large debit amount and putting us in the negative. We had several other debits come in the same time with this one large one and they said they always pay highest to lowest. This drained our entire funds and caused about 12 other small amounts to be returned and they charged 32 for every single one of them. Had they just returned the large amount, all others would have cleared but they wouldn't have made but 1 fee from us. They refused to credit over 500.
They also did not allow 3 CASH deposits to count that was made the afternoon before those debits came through at midnight. Had they done so we wouldn't have had any fees at all. They were counted 'next business day'.
Hmmm. Great way to make a lot of money from customers, huh?
