My Bank Of America account got sent to this collection agency after alomst a year of being deliquent. This collection agency wrote me a letter and replied by calling the phone number and talking to who was in charge of my account. This guy was nice at first and told me we needed to resolve this account. I explained to him my situation and told him I did not have this amount in full. He then did 3 Way with a man who he said was their Lawyer. This man then attacked me in every way pulled up my credit report and also pulled up my parents credit report told me that they had enough money to put this debt onto one of their other credit cards and that I needed to get it from them or else By that Friday I would have a police officer come to my house and serve me with a summons to come to court. That my amount would double and I would be held in contempt of the court for 28 days to pay that amount or else have further action taken against me. He then told me I was responsible and that I commited fraud for taking a credit card using it with the intent of not paying it back which I was paying on the card. They then began to talk as if I wasn't on the phone on how they would go after me how I would never be able to work again or be a teacher in the USA with this on my credit report. They were very rude and had me in tears by the end of the phone call thinking my life was ruined. These men should not be aloud to this nor the collection agency.
