First was sent a letter under Plaza Associates, Now they send me another letter under Law Offices of Mitchell N. Kay. I have tried to call about 10 times, office is always closed. I had paid this money they say I owe long ago, in 2001 to be exact. It was a car loan I cosigned for, and the person defaulted on the loan. I settled out of court with the banks lawyer for my portion.
When I received the letter from Plaza Associates, I faxed them a copy of the agreement with the lawyer and the bank, then they seem to have left me alone, however, then these guys come along. After a little search on the internet, I find that Plaza and Kay are one in the same.
I just think these people are outrageous and this is harassment. I will continue to try to call these idiots to leave me alone. I really just need to vent. This is really upsetting after having to fight to clear all this crap off my credit record almost 5 years ago just to have it crop up again. after this asshole who didn't pay her car note and left me hanging with it, and still hasn't paid it. It pisses me off. Why don't they go after her?
