I bought a vehicle from a local car lot which has their so called in house finance and it's through Credit Acceptance out of Southfield, Michigan. I only financed 12,200.00 including a extended warranty through Wynn's Extended Care. Credit Acceptance charged me with 29.5 interest which is way to high to start with and it has me paying back over 20,347.18. And to make matters worse the vehicle I purchased turned out to be a lemon from the get go. I have already had to spend 11,324.99 out of pocket for repairs in less than a year of purchasing the vehicle.
I stopped paying my payments on the vehicle, and I have begged Credit Acceptance to help me go against the car lot the Extended Warranty Company and they refuse to help in any way. I have even ask for them to either refinance my vehicle or help me trade it. And according to Credit Acceptance they have 5 other car lots here in the Atlanta area. The car lots I have been to want my vehicle plus a couple thousand more dollars down. Which they have also refused to do. And since they keep putting it on my credit report nobody is willing to help me. The only thing Credit Acceptance wants to do is repo my vehicle and ruin my credit more than what they already have.
And come to find out Credit Acceptance and the car lot knew that the vehicle I bought already had 15 bad history reports on Carfax. Which neither one even told me I was intitled to know.
