I have an excellent payment record with Chase and have had their credit card for appx 8 years. My interest rate was recently at 7.99, it was just increased to 19.24! because of information on my credit report. I have paid this account on time and never been late but that doesn't seem to matter to Chase. I was never notified in writing that my interest rate was being increased nor that it could increase if I had changes in my credit report. In speaking with customer service this was done to a lot of customers.
