I also purchases a 2000 Mercury Cougar from them in May of 2005. It is now April 2006 and I'm still finding problems all over. Here's a short list off the top of my head
-Starter grinds on occasion. Sometimes I have to try to start the car up to 20 times before it starts
-Both mufflers were strapped up but not connected. They have both fallen off completely since.
-Trunk release button doesn't work
-When I open the trunk with the key I have to pull up immediately because the spring in the trunk doesn't work
-Sunroof doesn't work
-Brakes are not working properly. I get bad vibrations when I brake
-Check engine light has been on since the day I got the car. They said it was just a bug and to not worry about it
-Passenger side lock doesn't always lock leaving my car vulnerable to theft.
-Frequent power faults when driving causing my headlights to dim or various electronics in the car to fail.

There's a few more, but that's all I can come up with from the top of my head. This car is basically a piece of junk that I'm already paying about twice the retail value because of my poor credit. I'd expect the car to perform better seeing as it only had roughly 50k miles on it when I purchased it.
