i purchased a hair appliance, named the Ceramic-Pro, which claimed to straighten hair, without damaging and in fact protecting the hair while straightening with heat. The product was unoperable within 4-5 months. It no longer worked. i contacted advanced beauty solutions to utilize my warranty and was instructed that the model that i had received had a manufacturing defect and the product would be replaced by them immediately. this conversation took place December19,2005 with customer service rep Aleesa, i followed up another phone conversation the same day with a cs rep named jessica and was assured the same information, that a manufacturing error caused the product to malfunction and made it inoperable and that the product would be replaced with a new model, that had been updated by a different manufacturer, which would be better. I never received the replacement straightener, and attempted to contact advanced beauty solutions again, on feb. 9 and again feb. 17, 2006 getting only a recording asking for my name and phone number and that i would be contacted by a representative, which never was generated by them as promised. the recording also gave me the option od using the website, which when i i attamped that 03-30-06, found it had been ended and that phone number i had previously been using to contact them 1-888-809-8953 is no longer in service. I paid in excess of 120.00 plus shipping and handling for a product that was advertised, to exceed in performance all other hair straightening appliance available, and that it had a 1 year warranty. i originally wanted the product replaced, but now i realize that wil never happen. i want my money back. kathleen a rowe 147 e colon rd coldwater, mi 49036 the ceramic-pro poduct was originally purchased on 08-09-05, and the warranty was to be available until 08-09-06
