Bank Of America Power Reward Visa Credit Limit
I went into my BofA Branch (Fountain Valley-Brookhurst) open a new checking account. I was told by the teller that I had been approved for a Power Rewards Visa w a credit limit of 7500. Would I be interested? I said Okay.
Well, I received my card approx. 1 week later and the paperwork again stated my credit limit was 7500. Not up to...Not almost...Credit Limit was 7,500.
I went online to activate my new card and link it to my checking and savings account. When I activated it, it said my limit was 500.
I then emailedcalledand have written to Bank of America asking for them to review.
Here is some of the responses I received:

Dear
Thank you for contacting Bank of America.
The credit limit on your new account is 500.00. Please contact us
again if you have further concerns. It is likely that the credit line
you are referencing was part of a preapproved offer which stated ¨you
are preapproved for a credit line of up to 7500.00.
We appreciate the opportunity to assist you online.

I didn't apply. I was offered the card by a teller as stated above. And none of my documentation states up to 7,500. It clearly says Credit Limit 7,500.
Please review.
Thank you.

As the reader can see from the responses, customer service continues to suggest that I 'applied' or
'requested' this card. Which I did not. I just want what I was offered and what I agreed to.
