Back in 1986-1990 there were various trade schools which were a big fraud and now Higher Education is taking money from innocent people that were frauded out of a education. I will tell you about my husbands truck driving school in Utica Ny but keep in mind you are also entitled to your money back if you attended some of the truck driving schools, culinary schools, and beauty salons. He was approached to do a truck driving school back in the 80's and he agreed to join. They offered on the job training, driving time, computer stimulated courses ect. there was a total of 18 people to start with. He was then asked if he had any friends who would be interested and he then brought a friend with him to join the school. They put all of the students up at a hotel and they began classes the next day the total of the classes was 6,000. When they arrived at class there was no insructors for the first week they sat and did nothing, the second week they were supposed to start driving again nothing, they did have a teacher in the class room that week but only to go over some of the rules and regs of the road, there was no computer stimulation classes, when these people signed up for these classes they were told they would have weeks of driving time, none of the trucks worked they were all frozen and or other problems. In the middle of the classes 18 more students joined becuase the school was moving to New York becuase they were being investigated by the goverment. So to try to make a long story of corruptness short no one passed this course becuase there was no course, We were harrassed for years with garnishment and letters from Higher Education for 22,000 the intrest accured on this loan. There was no driving time , no teachers certified to teach becuase the owners and the instructors licensed was pulled for a DWI i have proof of this also they violated human rightt recruiting poor black people this was in the goverment reports I recd through the Foil act. They gave loans to people who were going to unlicensed schools, they were caught forging people student loan checks, and alot of wrong things that both the goverment and higher education were aware of when giving these loans out. needless to say I filed a appeal twice and have won on a 'failure to benefit' bull crap but anyways I have won but this money I recd back for paying into this for 13 years was without intrest like I was mane to pay. It was without apology for 13 years of harrassment and hardship, bad credit reports, and having to put this on job applications. This case to me is not old and to others I am sure becuse every week people are still having their checks garnished fir these schools. Why this is wrong why are all these people paying for the fraudulent schools? This hurt alot of people who thought they were going to school for a better life not to be robbed by Higher Education and the goverment is backing them up.WHY ARE ATTORNEYS hanging up on me when I mention Higher Education? There has been a injustice done here and i can only hope one will listen to me so other innocent people can stopped being hqarrassed. I basically have already one step one in my case because no one has helped me I just need your credentials in court and I will tell you everything there is to know about this fraudulent issue that has happened to many innocent people with proof. If I can win this for me than others can know they dont have to be harrassed anymore. Why let them keep getting away with it? I really hope that someone will contact me if not I will again take this in my own hands and file my own suit after I research that area more. Thank you
