My husband and I signed with Miracle Management in August of 2003. They were taking the settlement payments to go int our 'escrow account' every month. Over the past 2 years there had been no accounts settled. My husband was served with papers to go to court because one of the creditors was sueing him. It was at this time that we decided to cancel with them. We emailed them and faxed letters stating this. We have 5411.00 supposed to be refunded to us and they said it would be 4-6 weeks. Now it has been 6 months and counting and we have nothing. We had to get a huge loan to pay off our creditors and because we were instructed to not pay them anything some of the balances doubled. It has been a very emotional rollercoaster for us. I send them countless emails and call them and leave messages and nobody every calls me back. I am at my wits end...I am seeing a lawyer on Wednesday. I don't think I should have to do that but it seems as if there isn't anything else to do. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they forwarded my complaint to the State Banking Dept. and then they forwarded it to the Federal Trade Commission. I need the money back to pay off a few things that I didn't have enough money to take care of last year. They have to be stopped or other people that thought they were making a good decision are going to be hurt.
