On 11-03-04 we purchase a SEALY mattress from Art Van Furniture , Ann Arbor Branch 425 E Eisenhower Pkwy.
Ann Arbor Michigan. 48108 ( Sealy web site is sealy.com). for which we paid 79999.
On 1-17-06 the mattress had to be replace because it was sagging really bad on both sides of it.
Now on 10-14-08 we called the Service Dept. to request an inspection of this second mattress, b ecause it was sagging even worst thast the first one.BEFORE I COULD SAY ANYTHING THE SER. DEPT. SAID- if the mattress has a stain the warranty is voided.
The inspector came in and said the mattress was indeed sagging badly, however, he said there was a stain on it.
My wife and I (both seniors over 75 yers old) could not see the stain. When the mattres cvame in ve covered it
very carefully. We don't drin or smoke in beda, there are not children in the house, etc.
I BELIEVE THEY ARE USING THE EXCUSE OF THE STAIN in order to avoid replacing the mattress.
What stsin got to do with the stain, even if there was one.
We want justice and join a class action suit. To get a replacement mattress at not cost to us.
We would like to sue both Art Van Furniture company for deceipt and Sealy for selling a defective product.
