I started using this company (Jubilee American Financial) in Dec. 2001 to negotiate and reduce my CC debt. I paid a set up fee and retainer fees before they would negotiate anything. Within the first year they settled 2 of my 5 accounts after I had to appear in court. Shortly thereafter they settled a third account. Each time they settled one, I had to pay a settlement fee. I think in 2004 they changed thier name to Miracle Management Group and in 2005 changed the name again to Risk Management Partners, LTD. I still have 2 accounts they have not settled and they are sitting on about 2600 of my money. I am now finding out that they were not licensed to operate in many states including Michigan. I look at it as they owe me about 3800 total to cover the set up fee, the settlement fees and what was in my trust account. I have contacted the Arizona Governors office, the Arizona Attorney General and the Michigan Attorney General.

I have tried to send a registered letter to this company to cancel my account, but it was rejected at thier mailing address. I have tried contact them via phone leaving many messages and Email with no responses.

I am working with one of my creditors currently to take care of one of the debts because they elected to sue me and I wanted to avoid going to court, but I don't have enough without these funds to do anything with the other account.

I can't afford a lawyer. What can I do?
