Comcast Cable

My complaint is with Comcast Cable TV. 2 years ago I had Comcast installed and had problems with the signal. Comcast sent out their techs and I was told that the comcast signal was cutting out before it reached the TV's. At that point I was told that I had to go out and purchasea DB amplifier. More money out of my pocket to get a service that I am already paying for. This did not correct the signal problems. At this point I was told by their techs that other customers have complained about this and that the problems has to do with them upgrading their system and for me to wait for them to get the problems corrected. Time goes by and I am still paying the full price for a service that is not there. I complained yet again and they sent out more techs. At this time I was told that the signal is Screaming (techs words) and that the problem is not the signal at all but electricity going through the cable wire (least resistance). Again I am told this is not comcasts problem and I must hire an electrician. More money out of my pocket just to get Comcast cable TV? How much money does it take to get cable TV? Isnt this a comcast problem and not the customers? I recently turned in the cable boxes and got rid of comcast cable tv because comcast refused to get the problem corrected and I could not see forking out more money for something I am not going to recieve anyhow. I have contacted the better business bureau and they have done nothing and comcast is not returning any calls. They have yet to credit my account for the loss of service that I have encountered. They claim that I got service and that money is owed to them. What service? The cable channels kept cutting in and out. I tried to work with comcast and they refused to correct problem. Please let me know if anything could be doen about this matter
