SD Lawyer Plans Class-Action Insurance Fee Suit

Hundreds of thousands of State Farm customers received a letter in the mail about a class-action lawsuit but many of them had no idea they were paying fees that some say are illegal.

Anderson and roughly 800,000 other State Farm customers received the notice about a class-action law suit.

San Diego attorney Tim Blood represents the customers.

Blood claims State Farm is breaking the law by demanding and collecting more money on top of the premium.

A trial is expected to start by next year.
