Judge Approves Settlement in Enterprise Class-Action

A judge in St. Louis, Missouri has approved a tentative settlement of a class-action lawsuit against Enterprise Leasing Co. over surcharges the company has charged vehicle renters since July 1997.

Assuming a final settlement is approved by Judge John J. Riley after a hearing on June 14, 2006, consumers can expect to receive "a voucher good for 25 percent off the non-discounted rental rates for a future car rental in the state of Missouri."
